Technical Description

This turbo oil feed and return line kit is designed for Ford Falcon XR6 Turbo and FPV BA, BF, FG and FG-X Barra 4.0L engines using factory Garrett GT3576R or GT3582R turbochargers. It replaces both the pressurized turbo oil feed and gravity oil return circuits with matched fittings and flexible hose assemblies.

The factory Barra oil feed filter is located in a difficult-to-access engine-side fitting, while the rigid oil feed and return pipes can become difficult to realign or reuse after repeated heat cycles, turbo removal or manifold changes. Deposits in the feed filter, aged sealing connections or incorrect drain alignment may affect oil delivery or allow oil to seep from the turbo plumbing.

The -4AN PTFE oil feed line connects through an oil pressure sensor tee adapter, allowing the factory sensor to remain installed. Oil passes through a removable 400-mesh external filter before reaching the turbo-side fitting with a 1.0mm restrictor. The return side uses a flexible 3/4-inch reinforced NBR hose with dedicated turbo-side and engine-side aluminum flanges.

The oil drain hose must be installed with a continuous downward path, without kinks or low spots.
