Subaru EJ20 EJ25 Turbo Oil Feed Line Kit | TD04L TD05H IHI VF-Series

This turbo oil feed line kit is designed for turbocharged Subaru EJ20 and EJ25 engines using stock-location TD04L, TD05H or supported IHI VF-Series turbochargers. It replaces the factory-style rigid oil feed path with a flexible -4AN PTFE braided line, engine-side connection hardware and a turbo-specific restrictor fitting.

Some Subaru EJ turbo oil supply fittings contain a small mesh screen that may restrict oil flow if contaminated. Where the applicable turbo-feed connection uses a screened fitting, this kit converts that connection to a filter-free -4AN braided oil line.

Choose the Correct Configuration

Select both the engine-side oil feed configuration and the turbo bearing type that match the installed engine and turbocharger:

• Non-AVCS: For engines using the corresponding direct turbo oil feed arrangement.
• AVCS: Includes the required T-fitting and secondary oil line for the applicable AVCS oil feed layout.
• TD04L / TD05H: Supplied with a 1.8 mm turbo-side restrictor fitting.
• IHI RHF5H / RHF55 Journal Bearing: Supplied with a 1.8 mm restrictor fitting.
• IHI RHF5HB Ball Bearing: Supplied with a 1.0 mm restrictor fitting.

Important: Select the turbo option by the exact turbo model and bearing system, not by EJ20 or EJ25 engine size alone. AVCS equipment can vary by engine code, model year, market and engine conversion history.

Installation Notes

Inspect and clean the engine oil supply path before installation, especially when fitting a new or rebuilt turbocharger. Route the braided line away from exhaust components, sharp edges and moving parts. Prime the turbo before the first start and inspect every connection for leaks after the engine reaches operating temperature.

This kit is designed for supported stock-location TD04L, TD05H and IHI VF-Series installations. It does not include turbo oil drain components and is not intended for rotated turbo setups or Garrett GT28R / GT30R bolt-on conversions.
