Mazdaspeed 3 / 6 & CX-7 Turbo Oil Drain Hose Kit | K0422

This turbo oil drain hose kit is designed for Mazdaspeed 3, Mazdaspeed 6 and Mazda CX-7 models equipped with the 2.3L MZR DISI Turbo engine and a stock K0422 turbocharger. It replaces the external gravity-return assembly between the turbocharger and engine.

The factory oil return assembly is exposed to repeated heat cycles, engine movement and vibration around the turbocharger. Aging gaskets, damaged sealing surfaces or deterioration of the original rigid return pipe may allow oil to seep from the lower turbo area, particularly after the pipe has been disturbed during turbocharger service.

This GryphonTek kit uses a flexible 3/4-inch reinforced NBR hose with CNC-machined 6061-T6 aluminum drain flanges. The flexible hose simplifies routing between the K0422 turbocharger and engine while allowing limited movement between the connected components.

Installation Note

This kit uses a thick-profile engine-side oil drain flange. The included extended engine-mount bolts must be installed in place of the shorter factory bolts to provide the required clearance and thread engagement.
