Technical Description
This complete turbo oil and water line kit is designed for Mazdaspeed 3, Mazdaspeed 6 and Mazda CX-7 models equipped with the 2.3L MZR DISI Turbo engine and converted to a compatible water-cooled Garrett GT28R or GT30R ball-bearing turbocharger. It replaces the external pressurized oil feed, gravity oil drain and turbo water-cooling connections required for the upgraded turbo installation.
Converting from the factory K0422 turbocharger to a Garrett GT-Series unit changes the oil inlet, oil drain and coolant-port connections. The original rigid pipes are not designed to connect directly to the Garrett center housing, requiring compatible adapters, drain flanges and flexible line routing for the conversion.
This GryphonTek kit uses a -4AN PTFE braided oil feed line with a turbo-side 1.0mm restrictor, a reinforced 3/4-inch NBR oil drain hose with CNC-machined aluminum flanges, and two -6AN PTFE braided water lines. Application-specific engine, turbo and coolant-system fittings complete the external oil and water plumbing.

Installation Note
This kit uses a thick-profile engine-side oil drain flange. The included extended engine-mount bolts must be installed in place of the shorter factory bolts to provide the required clearance and thread engagement.
