Technical Description

This turbo oil feed line kit is designed for Mazdaspeed 3, Mazdaspeed 6 and Mazda CX-7 models equipped with the 2.3L MZR DISI Turbo engine and converted to a compatible Garrett GT28R or GT30R ball-bearing turbocharger. It provides the external pressurized oil-supply connection between the engine block and upgraded turbocharger.

Converting from the factory K0422 turbocharger to a Garrett GT-Series unit changes the turbo oil-inlet connection. The original K0422 oil feed pipe is not designed to connect directly to the Garrett center housing, requiring compatible fittings and a flexible oil-feed route for the conversion.

This GryphonTek kit uses a flexible -4AN PTFE braided hose with a 304 stainless steel outer braid. The supplied turbo-side fitting incorporates a 1.0mm restrictor configured for the listed Garrett ball-bearing applications, while the matching engine block adapter connects the braided line to the factory engine oil source.
