Mazdaspeed 3 / 6 & CX-7 Turbo Oil Drain Hose Kit | Garrett GT28R GT30R

This turbo oil drain hose kit is designed for Mazdaspeed 3, Mazdaspeed 6 and Mazda CX-7 models equipped with the 2.3L MZR DISI Turbo engine and converted to a compatible Garrett GT28R or GT30R turbocharger. It provides the external gravity-return connection between the upgraded turbocharger and the engine oil-return port.

Converting from the factory K0422 turbocharger to a Garrett GT-Series unit changes the turbo oil drain flange pattern and return-line routing. The original rigid K0422 drain pipe is not designed to connect directly to the Garrett center housing, requiring compatible drain flanges and a flexible hose assembly for the conversion.

This GryphonTek kit uses a flexible 3/4-inch reinforced NBR oil hose with CNC-machined 6061-T6 aluminum drain flange assemblies at both ends. The Garrett-specific turbo-side flange connects to the upgraded turbocharger, while the thick-profile engine-side flange connects the gravity-return line to the factory engine oil-return location.

Installation Note

This kit uses a thick-profile engine-side oil drain flange. The included extended engine-mount bolts must be installed in place of the shorter factory bolts to provide the required clearance and thread engagement.
