Technical Description

High-volume oil evacuation for smoke-free EFR performance. BorgWarner EFR turbochargers move a significant volume of oil to maintain the stability of their bearing cartridges. To prevent back-pressure and seal failure in the 2.3L DISI engine bay, an unrestricted return path to the oil pan is critical. This kit provides the specific EFR-pattern billet hardware and high-temp plumbing needed for a leak-free, rapid-flow return circuit.

  • EFR Specific Geometry: CNC-machined 6061-T6 billet aluminum flange ensures a perfectly flat, leak-free interface tailored for the EFR drain port.
  • Maximum Evacuation Architecture: 3/4" internal diameter handles the high oil volume of EFR builds, preventing the back-pressure that causes "Blue Smoke."
  • Industrial NBR Construction: Reinforced oil-resistant hose remains flexible under extreme thermal cycles and absorbs high-frequency 2.3L vibrations.
  • CNC-Machined Sealing Integrity: Precision mounting surface paired with Interface N-8092 gaskets provides a permanent, professional-grade seal.

Technical Installation Note

Hardware Compatibility: This kit with thick-profile engine-side drain flange. To ensure a proper installation, an extended engine mount bolts are included to replace the shorter factory hardware.
