Technical Description

This turbo oil feed and return line kit is designed for Ford Territory Turbo, Ghia Turbo and FPV F6X SY / SY II models powered by Barra 4.0L 245T or 270T engines with a Garrett GT3582R turbocharger. Stock Mount and Top Mount routing options are available to suit the turbo installation position.

The original engine-side oil feed fitting contains a small internal filter that can become restricted by oil contamination and is difficult to inspect while installed. On the return side, damaged rigid piping, leaking flange seals, restricted hose or incorrect routing can slow the gravity-fed oil return from the turbocharger.

This GryphonTek kit replaces both oil circuits with a -4AN PTFE braided oil feed line, serviceable external inline filter, oil pressure sensor tee adapter and a GT3582R turbo fitting with a 1.0 mm restrictor. The oil return system uses reinforced NBR hose and CNC-machined turbo and engine-side drain flanges, with routing matched to the selected Stock Mount or Top Mount configuration.

Correct downward drain routing is required. Avoid sharp bends, kinks or upward hose sections that may restrict gravity oil return.
