Ford Territory Barra 4.0L Turbo Oil & Water Line Guide

This guide helps you select the correct turbo oil feed, oil drain and water line kit for Ford Territory Turbo and Ghia Turbo SY / SY II models, plus the FPV F6X with Barra 4.0L 245T or 270T engines.

Kit selection depends on the exact turbocharger and its mounting position. Vehicles using the same Barra engine may require different turbo-side fittings, water fittings or hose routing.

Turbo Connection Differences

Garrett GT3582R / GT35R and G-Series G35 turbochargers share the same turbo-side oil feed, oil drain and water port configuration. However, hose length and routing may differ according to the turbo mounting position. Select the product group and mounting option that match the actual installation.

Garrett G-Series G40, G42 and G45 turbochargers share the same oil feed and oil drain connection pattern as the GT42R family. Their water port sizes are different, so a matching oil feed or drain connection does not mean the water line kits are interchangeable.

Kit Types & Recommended Use

Kit Type Recommended Use
Complete Oil & Water Line Kit Complete turbo installation or replacement of the oil feed, oil drain and water lines.
Oil Feed & Return Line Kit Replaces the turbo oil supply and oil drain systems without the water lines.

Turbo Water Line Kit Replaces only the turbo coolant supply and return lines.

*The collection also includes an oil pressure sensor tee adapter kit and manifold or turbo stud and nut kits for separate replacement.

Before Ordering Checklist

Confirm the following parameters before processing your purchase:

  • Identify the exact turbo model from the turbo ID plate or part number.
  • Confirm whether the turbo is installed in the stock-mount or top-mount position.
  • Select water lines according to the exact turbo family, not only the oil fitting pattern.
  • Choose between a complete kit and an individual feed, drain or water line kit.
