Technical Description

This turbo oil drain hose kit is designed for Ford Territory Turbo, Ghia Turbo and FPV F6X SY / SY II models powered by Barra 4.0L 245T or 270T engines converted to a top-mount Garrett G-Series G40, G42 or G45 turbocharger.

When upgrading to a large-frame top-mount turbocharger, the original rigid oil drain pipe may no longer suit the revised turbo position and return path. A restricted hose, damaged flange seal or incorrectly routed drain line can slow the gravity-fed oil return from the turbocharger.

This GryphonTek kit provides a flexible oil return connection between the G40, G42 or G45 turbocharger and the factory Barra engine return port. It includes a 3/4" high-temperature, oil-resistant reinforced NBR hose, CNC-machined turbo and engine-side drain flanges, gaskets and mounting hardware.

Correct downward routing is required for unrestricted gravity drainage. Avoid sharp bends, kinks, low points or extended horizontal hose sections during installation.
