Technical Description

This turbo oil feed and return line kit is designed for Ford Territory Turbo, Ghia Turbo and FPV F6X SY / SY II models powered by Barra 4.0L 245T or 270T engines converted to a top-mount Garrett GT42R turbocharger, including the GT4294R and GT4202R.

When upgrading to a large-frame top-mount turbocharger, the original rigid oil feed and drain pipes may no longer suit the revised turbo position and hose routing. The original engine-side oil feed connection also contains a small internal filter that can become restricted and is difficult to inspect while installed.

This GryphonTek kit replaces both the turbo oil feed and gravity-return circuits. Oil is supplied from the engine oil pressure sensor port through a -4AN PTFE braided line, serviceable external filter and GT42R oil feed fitting with a 2.0 mm restrictor. A reinforced 3/4" NBR hose connects the GT42R drain flange to the factory Barra engine return port.
