Technical Description

This turbo water line kit is designed for Ford Territory Turbo, Ghia Turbo and FPV F6X SY / SY II models powered by Barra 4.0L 245T or 270T engines converted to a top-mount Garrett G-Series G40, G42 or G45 turbocharger.

When upgrading to a large-frame top-mount turbocharger, the original rigid coolant pipes may no longer suit the revised turbo position and hose routing. Factory pipes can also become difficult to realign or reuse after turbo removal, while damaged connections or sealing washers may allow coolant to leak around the turbocharger.

This GryphonTek kit replaces the turbo coolant feed and return pipes with two flexible -6AN PTFE braided stainless steel lines. G40/G42/G45-compatible turbo water fittings, banjo bolts and copper sealing washers are supplied to complete the coolant connections for the top-mount installation.
