Technical Description

This complete turbo oil and water line kit is designed for Ford Territory Turbo, Ghia Turbo and FPV F6X SY / SY II models powered by Barra 4.0L 245T or 270T engines converted to a top-mount Garrett G-Series G40, G42 or G45 turbocharger.

When upgrading to a large-frame top-mount turbocharger, the original rigid oil and coolant pipes may no longer suit the revised turbo position and hose routing. The original engine-side oil feed fitting also contains a small internal filter that can become restricted and is difficult to inspect while installed.

This GryphonTek kit replaces the turbo oil feed, gravity drain and coolant feed/return circuits with matched flexible lines and fittings. Oil is supplied from the engine oil pressure sensor port through a -4AN PTFE line, serviceable external filter and a G40/G42/G45-specific fitting with a 2.0 mm restrictor. A reinforced 3/4" NBR drain hose and two -6AN PTFE water lines complete the large-frame top-mount plumbing setup.

Correct downward drain routing is required. Avoid sharp bends, kinks, low points or extended horizontal hose sections that may restrict gravity oil return. Check oil and water line clearance from exhaust components before final tightening.
