Technical Description

This turbo oil drain hose kit is designed for Ford Falcon XR6 Turbo and FPV Barra 4.0L engines upgraded with a Garrett G-Series G35-900 or G35-1050 turbocharger. It replaces the rigid turbo oil return assembly with a flexible reinforced NBR hose, CNC-machined aluminum flanges and the required sealing and mounting hardware.

Turbo upgrades and manifold changes can alter the position and alignment of the turbo oil outlet. Reusing a rigid factory return pipe in a modified installation may create alignment stress, sealing difficulties or an unsuitable drain path between the turbocharger and engine.

The GryphonTek kit uses a 3/4-inch oil-resistant NBR hose between dedicated G35 turbo-side and Barra engine-side drain flanges. The flexible hose allows the return path to be routed for the upgraded turbo position.

Turbo oil return is gravity-fed. The hose must be installed with a continuous downward path toward the engine, without kinks, restrictions or low spots that can retain oil.
