Technical Description

This turbo oil drain hose kit is designed for Dodge Neon SRT-4 and Chrysler PT Cruiser 2.4L Turbo applications using the factory TD04LR-16GK or Mopar Stage 3 TD05HR-15GK2 turbocharger. It replaces the original turbo oil return hose and drain pipe assembly with application-specific components designed to maintain a stable gravity-fed oil return path.

The factory rubber drain section is exposed to continuous exhaust-side heat, engine movement and oil vapour. Over time, the hose may harden, crack or lose flexibility, while disturbed flange connections may begin to seep after turbo removal or servicing.

The GryphonTek kit uses a reinforced high-temperature NBR drain hose, corrosion-resistant steel drain pipe and Interface N-8092 gasket. The flexible hose section accommodates normal engine movement while the formed drain pipe maintains the required connection between the turbocharger and engine-side oil return.
