Technical Description
This complete turbo oil and water line kit is designed for Ford Falcon XR6 Turbo and FPV BA, BF, FG and FG-X Barra 4.0L engines upgraded with a Garrett G-Series G40, G42 or G45 turbocharger in a Top Mount configuration. Separate BA/BF and FG options provide chassis-specific hose lengths and routing.
A large-frame Top Mount turbo installation changes the position of the oil and coolant connections, making the original rigid lines difficult to align or reuse. The oil drain must also follow a suitable gravity-return path from the raised turbo position back to the engine.
This GryphonTek kit combines a -4AN PTFE oil feed line, oil pressure sensor tee adapter and serviceable external inline filter with a G40 / G42 / G45 oil inlet fitting featuring an integrated 2.0mm restrictor. The oil return side uses a flexible 3/4-inch reinforced NBR hose with CNC-machined aluminum turbo-side and Barra engine-side flanges.
Two -6AN PTFE braided lines complete the turbo coolant feed and return circuits using water fittings matched to the Garrett G40, G42 and G45 port configuration. The oil drain hose must be installed with a continuous downward path toward the engine, without kinks, restrictions or low spots.
