Technical Description
Fix the dreaded "ticking" sound and prevent snapped studs during your next turbo swap. The Subaru EJ Boxer engine creates an intense heat-soak environment around the turbocharger. Over time, factory exhaust hardware stretches, rusts, and eventually snaps—leading to power-robbing exhaust leaks at the manifold or dump pipe junctions. This GryphonTek Series Kit is the professional, high-tensile upgrade designed to maintain a permanent, leak-free seal under extreme thermal stress.
GryphonTek Engineering
- S35C Heat-Treated Strength: Every stud is phosphate-coated and heat-treated to HRC30~36. Designed to handle thousands of extreme heat cycles without stretching or losing clamping force.
- Internal Hex-Tip Installation: Features a 5mm inner hexagon end. Allows you to seat the studs perfectly into the flange with a simple hex key—eliminating the need for risky "double-nutting" in tight spaces.
- Anti-Seize Top-Lock Nuts: Copper-plated flange nuts prevent "galling" (seizing) to the stud. The mechanical top-lock design ensures the nut stays torqued despite engine vibration.
- Permanent Exhaust Seal: Specifically engineered for EJ20/EJ25 TD04L, TD05H, and IHI VF-Series turbos to ensure a zero-leak junction for better boost response.
