Technical Description

This turbo water line kit is designed for Mazda MX-5 Miata NA (MK1) and NB (MK2/MK2.5) models being converted from naturally aspirated to turbo using the water-cooled IHI RHF5 VJ35 turbocharger. It provides the coolant hoses and fittings required to connect the VJ35 center housing to the Miata cooling circuit.

The supplied plumbing connects the turbo coolant ports through the thermostat-case and mixing-manifold circuit. The vehicle-side hose size changes by application: NA models use 8 mm / 5/16-inch coolant connections, while NB models use 10 mm / 3/8-inch connections.

Reinforced NBR coolant hoses provide flexible routing around the turbocharger and exhaust manifold. The kit also includes VJ35 specific water port fittings, vehicle side coolant barb adapters, copper sealing washers, and hose clamps.
