Technical Description

This turbo oil drain hose kit is designed for Mazda MX-5 Miata NA (MK1) and NB (MK2/MK2.5) models being converted from naturally aspirated to turbo using a compatible Holset HX30 or HX35 turbocharger.

The kit provides the gravity return connection from the turbocharger center housing to the engine oil pan. It includes a Holset compatible CNC machined 6061-T6 aluminum drain flange, reinforced 3/4-inch NBR oil drain hose, oil pan return fitting, Interface N-8092 gasket, stainless steel hose clamps, and mounting bolts.

Turbo oil drainage depends on correct center housing orientation, unrestricted downward hose routing, and proper placement of the oil pan return fitting. These installation factors are required to minimize drain restriction and oil back pressure at the turbocharger.
