Technical Description

This turbo oil drain hose kit is designed for Mazda MX-5 Miata NA (MK1) and NB (MK2/MK2.5) models being converted from naturally aspirated to turbo using a Holset HE221W turbocharger.

The kit provides the gravity return connection from the turbocharger center housing to the engine oil pan. It includes a Holset HE221W specific drain flange, reinforced 3/4-inch NBR oil hose, oil pan return fitting, Interface N-8092 gasket, stainless steel clamps, and mounting bolts.

A turbo oil drain must allow oil to leave the center housing freely. Correct turbo orientation, hose routing, and oil pan fitting position are required to minimize drain restriction and oil back pressure at the turbocharger.
