WL-T 2.5L Turbo Line Kit Guide
This guide is for Mazda Bravo B2500 and Ford Courier models fitted with the 2.5L WL-T turbo diesel engine. These vehicles commonly use factory IHI RHF5 turbochargers, including VJ25, VJ26, and VJ33 turbo setups. As these vehicles age, the original turbo oil and water lines can become difficult to service. Factory hard lines may corrode, rubber hose sections can crack, and old fittings or studs may no longer seal properly after removal. GryphonTek offers separate turbo line kits and fittings so you can replace only the parts required for your repair or rebuild.
Which Turbo Line Kit Do You Need?
The correct kit depends on which part of the turbo oil or water system you are replacing. Some customers only need a single oil feed line, while others prefer a full kit when removing or rebuilding the turbo.
Complete Turbo Oil & Water Line Kit
Choose the complete turbo oil and water line kit if you are removing the turbo, replacing multiple old lines, or refreshing the full turbo plumbing system at the same time. This is the most complete option and is suitable when the original hard lines, rubber hose sections, oil feed line, oil drain hose, or water lines are worn, leaking, or difficult to reuse.
Turbo Oil Feed Line Kit
The turbo oil feed line supplies pressurised engine oil to the turbocharger. Choose this kit if the factory oil feed line is blocked, leaking, damaged, or being replaced during turbo service. This option is suitable when the oil drain and water lines are still serviceable, but the oil feed side needs replacement.
Turbo Oil Drain Hose Kit
The oil drain hose returns oil from the turbocharger back to the engine. Choose this kit if the original drain hose is hardened, cracked, leaking, or no longer seals properly. Oil drain problems should be addressed carefully because poor oil return can cause oil leakage around the turbocharger.
Turbo Oil Feed & Return Line Kit
Choose the oil feed and return line kit if you want to service both the oil supply and oil drain side without replacing the turbo water lines. This is a practical option for turbo removal, oil leak repair, or turbo replacement where the coolant lines remain in usable condition.
Engine Block Oil Feed Fitting
The engine block oil feed fitting is used when building a custom braided turbo oil feed line for the Mazda Bravo B2500 or Ford Courier WL-T 2.5L engine. This fitting connects to the engine-side oil feed port and provides a suitable connection point for a custom braided oil feed hose.
Turbo Oil Feed Inlet Fitting
The turbo oil feed inlet fitting is used when building a custom braided oil feed line for IHI RHF5 VJ25, VJ26, or VJ33 turbochargers. This fitting connects to the turbocharger oil inlet and provides the correct connection point for a custom braided oil feed hose.
Exhaust Manifold & Turbo Stud Kit
The exhaust manifold and turbo stud kit is designed for replacing worn, stretched, rusted, or damaged mounting studs during turbo removal or exhaust manifold service. Old turbo and manifold studs can seize, snap, or lose clamping force over time. Replacing the studs during service helps reduce the chance of exhaust leaks after reassembly.
Common WL-T Turbo Line Problems
The Mazda WL-T 2.5L turbo diesel engine is often found in older utility and 4x4 applications. Over time, the factory turbo oil and water lines can suffer from heat, vibration, corrosion, and repeated servicing. Common issues include:

Always compare the original fittings, hose routing, and turbo setup before ordering. Some vehicles may have been modified, repaired with non-original parts, or fitted with a different turbocharger during their service life.
Full Kit or Individual Replacement Parts?
If you are only repairing one leaking section, an individual line or fitting may be enough. If the turbo is already removed, or if the vehicle still uses original lines and hardware, replacing multiple related parts at the same time is usually more efficient.
For a full turbo service, the complete turbo oil and water line kit is the best starting point. For targeted repair, choose the individual oil feed, oil drain, fitting, or stud kit that matches the failed part.
